Only few Museum’s have DNA research facility inside their walls; The Field Museum’s lab is the only you can experience a close-up of the current research. With-in the exhibit you can experience hands-on interactivities, videos, and engaging in displays that will brief you on the basics of DNA and provide you with a behind-the-scenes look at the Field Museum’s Pritzker Laboratory for Molecular Systematic and Evolution. The project consisted of removing old Anthropology artifacts to demolish existing storage space in front of the Pritzker lab. The biggest challenge was to install HVAC system in the new lab space because of its remote location. CATH worked closely with the MEP designer and building engineers to come-up with a solution.
