This was a Historical Renovation Project, consisting of a complete masonry restoration of an existing 4-story masonry building, including cleaning, tuck-pointing and replacement of parapets with new masonry and terra cotta material.
The project also included the installation and replacement of 65 new double-hung wood window units - matching existing units -, restoration of 265 existing double-hung wood windows, as well as extensive lead and hazardous material abatement and remediation.
All work was done while various branches of the Army and Navy Dental Corps occupied the building.
